Shanghai's Zhangjiang High Tech Park hosted its first drama salon on April 12, with the aim of creating a better cultural environment for local workers.

Comedians from Shanghai Kaixin Mahua Culture Development Co, a popular comedy performance group in China, were invited to perform their latest musical Mini Lover, which was lapped up by the audience.

In addition to the performances, the actors also shared their own personal stories with the audience.

Wang Haigang, general manager of Shanghai Kaixin Mahua Culture Development Co, shared the comedy creation process and development of the company with local drama fans.

The salon forms part of Zhangjiang's scheme to improve local culture facilities and add a cultural feature to the science city.
