Beyondsoft, a Beijing-based IT consultancy and solution provider, opened its global sci-tech innovation headquarters in Zhangjiang High Tech Park, Shanghai, on Jan 10.
The six-story building covers a combined floor area of 4,000 square meters and is designed with technology exhibition halls, innovation centers, R&D centers, and other functional areas.
The arrival of the headquarters in Zhangjiang is of great significance to Beyondsoft's global strategy.
Wang Bin, chairman and president of the company, explained that Beyondsoft used to introduce overseas market and technologies to China, but in the future will integrate domestic advantages in technology, market access and capital to develop an international business model.
Wang also mentioned the company's client-centered service philosophy and introduced its two-part global strategy for 2018.
Abroad, the company will continue to serve global hi-tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon with cutting-edge technologies and bring overseas technology to domestic markets.
At home, with the support of the country's Belt and Road Initiative strategy, it will take its product solutions and capital to Southeast Asian countries to promote mutual cooperation in capital and technology.
In addition to the headquarters, Beyondsoft also joined hands with Zhangjiang Huoju Entrepreneurship Park to build an Internet of Things (IoT) innovation center. Inaugurated on Jan 10, the center is a result of innovative cooperation between a listed company and a state-owned enterprise.
The center will use Beyondsoft's financial and technological advantages and Zhangjiang Huoju's governmental background and information advantages to attract a number of IoT-featured innovative tech companies. With that approach it will contribute to Shanghai's goal of becoming an international scientific and technological innovation center.
Beyondsoft, founded in 1995, first came to Zhangjiang in 2005. It has established R&D centers in Shanghai, Japan, the United States, and India.
The landing of its global sci-tech innovation headquarters in Zhangjiang indicates that Zhangjiang is appealing to many companies due to its good investment environment, supporting facilities, gathering of high-profile talents, and innovation systems.
Zhangjiang has been building a headquarters economic park since 2013 in hope of better serving companies that locate their headquarters there.
