Three Yangtze River Delta innovative projects land in Zhangjiang
The Yangtze River Delta Integration Industry Collaboration and Innovation Forum was held in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province recently.
Three innovative projects, namely the Yangtze River Delta industrial innovation center, the Yangtze River Delta urban intelligence research laboratory and the practice base of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University China Institute for Urban Governance were unveiled at the demonstration center of Zhangjiang Yangtze River Delta Sci-Tech City, Shanghai on the same day.

Xie Jinxiong, vice-president of Country Garden, said during the forum that as the forefront of connecting Zhejiang province with Shanghai, Zhangjiang Yangtze River Delta Sci-Tech City, the first cross-provincial cooperative park in China, is an important part of the national strategy for the integration of the Yangtze River Delta.
The sci-tech city was authorized by the management committee of Zhangjiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone and will be jointly built by Zhangjiang, Shanghai’s Jinshan district and Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.
With a total planning area of 87 square kilometers, including 45 sq km in Jiaxing’s Pinghu district and 42 sq km in Shanghai’s Fengjing town, the sci-tech city has advantages in multiple aspects, such as strategy, location, mechanism, resource, policy and brand.
It will integrate Zhejiang province’s advantages in land resources, human resources and business costs with Shanghai’s advantages in finance, talent and market, enhancing the synergetic development of the two regions.
